Common Sense Approach
All of us at MEP believe in “common sense” assessments. One way to ensure integrity in the process is that MEP does not engage in Phase II investigations—we maintain relationships with excellent, licensed third-party consultants for needs like soil sampling or tank removal.
This separation in the ESA process eliminates conflicts of interest in findings of Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), which, in our experience, are almost always minor issues that can be categorized as simple “house cleaning.”
